Condolences to DC and his family. Very sad and very difficult to lose a close family member. Incredible that he was able to be at the game yesterday, extremely brave from him.

Maybe we should all ask ourselves could we have been able to do the same shows his love of this club because when I lost my mother at an early age the last thing I was thinking about was football condolences to dc and family UTG

JTS, could we possibly send flowers/make a donation from the FFS please? Id like to send some extra funds to FFS if needed.

Good call Blue Mist. Of course DC has his immediate family. He also has his extended family - which I would hope to be anyone involved with Bristol Rovers FC.

Being totally honest when my heroin and crack addled brother died I felt relief. It was a prolonged suicide really and the suffering was over. Same with mum. Alzheimer's and then a stroke. It all depends on circumstances I think. Sometimes it's pure relief to know the suffering is done. Obviously if it's a shock and unexpected death then it's much different. We never get over it but we learn to live with it. Some never do
