Strange, as I too think Braintree away was an pivotal moment. I walked out of that match shaking my head and metaphorically staring over the side of a chasm. Something happened that day. Since then, the rise has been nothing short of miraculous. Meteoric. Of course, there have been blips along the way such as Chesham Bath etc. But, for me....Daggers takes the cherry in a two year well constructed icing on the cake. A kindof footballing Gas orgasm! From chasm to orgasm... Maybe MM title of a book?! Haha! ...there have been blips along the way such as Chesham Bath Chelsea etc.

Can there ever have been two more dramatic promotion days to seal a back to back revival as Ice Cool Mansells penalty shoot out winner & then Lee Brown and the Right Hand Post deep into injury time......with Accrington hitting the bar soon after.
Amazing journey that keeps on giving.

I remember leaving that Braintree game and seeing a guy leaving with his 3 under 10 year old kids thinking that's one hell of a journey back home after that. Made me feel worse. Someone else who was speaking as if they were ITK saying Darryl would be leaving on Monday. SInce then it's just got better and better - hopefully those three kids were at the Dagenham game. Dread to think where we would have been now, had he left. Likely two divisions lower, with the old board and a skeleton of a club.

Nice short trip for me and although we've had two promotions it's one of the few matches that I felt at half time that we would definately win! To score 7 made it a very enjoyable and stress-free afternoon....and we don't get many of those as Rovers fans! Despite the promotions we always do it the hard way! UTG! I was pissed as a fart. You always seem to be reading your posts

My highlights of the last two years were Dover (away) FGR (away, play offs) and Mansfield (away).
