Did anyone else think Nick Day's half time comments on Saturday were a little odd? When it seems that Wael is a consummate professional in the way he presents himself, his family and Board, it seemed to me that Nicks comments seemed misplaced, no matter how he or any of us felt.
Nothing against Nick Day, no witch hunt; it just did not sound right.

Nick does a grand job and it's very noticeable when he is away, and he is a professional on radio. He is much better than some of the sterile PA blokes in other grounds. Nick is obviously a Gashead and has, I feel, a rapport with the crowd.
Though he appears to have stopped that climactic "Come on you Rovers, come on you blues" for fears of coughing himself inside out.
His speeches for silences, especially the one on terrorism are spot on.
I am sure that the new regime will have a word if they deem it necessary.

If Nick didn't enjoy the first 45 minutes, why not say? I must be getting mellow in my old age as really enjoyed the whole 90 minutes!

Just surprised that was the first thing he came out with. We laughed.

Also he questioned team selection by saying Montano should be playing Well.......he was right on both counts. Should he have said it?...probably not....but saying what you think is often frowned upon! I wonder what the loose cannon that was Keith Valle would have said, especially as Rochdale had Camps and Bunney playing!

Its fine questioning team selection to the bloke you're stood next to but questioning team selection over the tannoy?
