As previously linked above in this thread ... The official website states "The match has been designated ALL TICKET ... " www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/cardiff-tickets-hospitality-on-sale-3205663.aspxThe supporters club website also states this in a recent post.

FWIW, i agreed with KP, it was not acceptable to change the terms at such a late time, he has my respect and understanding for pulling out. It's in the past Jon. I have no idea why the poster even brought it up, other than as an attempt to wind me up and that was unsuccessful. Good to see Simon win a spot, he will no doubt be happy at that lol

Well having read other forums / social media, I reckon that there is a fair number that either think they can pay on the day or it's "the one we're boycotting" !!
I'm not sure when exactly they come off sale. Unless there is a big surge tomorrow I reckon we'll have about 3,000 Rovers fans there, and (only from hearsay mind) around 600 from the Cardiff (season ticket holders / members). If this turns out correct it would be strange we'd have fewer attending a competitive match than the pre-season friendlies.
Whilst the club have always stated that the game is ALL TICKET, I don't think it has helped that the titles only say "Cardiff Tickets On Sale ..." and you have to read the article to see it's all-ticket. Even then, when a match has been made all-ticket in the past they usually add something along the lines of "This match is ALL TICKET. You must buy your ticket in advance. There is no pay on the day."
As a side note, I think there will be around 2,500 spaces available for the pay-on-the-dayers come Sunday against Oxford.

I would suspect about 2,000 regular attendees now have new Sky Sports subscriptions and indeed are watching at home with a pint of Gem instead of driving past 50,000 balloon fans on their way to Ashton Court rather than driving to the Mem.

When is the deadline for buying tickets please ? An hour ago, I think. Unless they're still available online? Edit: I just had a look and they might still be available (I didn't try to complete the purchase because I'm not going), but it says they're only available to buy online til 5pm the day before the game. Who knows?!

When is the deadline for buying tickets please ? I see that the club's twitter account has been replying to questions, including to you KP to confirm 12 midnight for online purchases. However, I'm unable to access any of the matches online. Each one I select comes back with a timeout error!

So the possibility of playing Chelsea in the next round ... Is that what has sent the server down on the online ticket sales - people last minute changing their mind to help cheer on the boys to secure a plum tie next round?

I tried an hour or so ago, well before the draw started. Same problem then. I suspect someone forgot to tell the online bods they were supposed to be selling until midnight.

It seems to be all games Ann, not just Cardiff Have a look at another match and see if you get the message I see: "A timeout occurred attempting to contact the ticketing supplier. You should be able to go back and resubmit the form to request your tickets. If you continue to receive this message, please contact customer service. For more information, contact customer service." Could be losing out on a few last minute sales.

*Bristol Rovers' match against Cardiff City on Thursday will affect the draw seedings.
If Cardiff win, they will be seeded and will visit Scunthorpe United, with Bristol City going to Chelsea.
If Bristol Rovers win, they will be unseeded and will be away to Chelsea, with Bristol City away to Scunthorpe.
