I won't go to any of them, if we get to Wembley, I won't go. I'll be donating my ticket price to the Rovers Community Project and FFS.

Daft post.

if we play our youth team we will be fined Well the way the organisation of this tournament is going then this time next year we probably will be playing against our youth team.
No moral high ground here - I just think it sounds like the most underwhelming competition since the Zenith Data Systems Cup....

You gota to feel for Cheltenham being put in the Northern section!!!! Some long trips for them! DATES FOR YOUR DIARY Each club plays the other once, either at home or away. Fixtures are due to be played in the weeks commencing August 29, October 3 and November 7. A penalty shoot-out will be held in the event of a draw, with the winners gaining a bonus point. The top two sides in each group will then progress to the knock-out stages. EFL Trophy group stages Southern Group A Reading Bristol Rovers POMPEY Yeovil Town Southern Group B Swansea City AFC Wimbledon Newport County Plymouth Argyle Southern Group C Chelsea Swindon Town Exeter City Oxford United Southern Group D West Ham United Coventry City Wycombe Wanderers Northampton Town Southern Group E Southampton Charlton Athletic Colchester United Crawley Town Southern Group F Norwich City Peterborough United Barnet Milton Keynes Dons Southern Group G Brighton & Hove Albion Southend United Stevenage Leyton Orient Southern Group H West Bromwich Albion Millwall Luton Town Gillingham Northern Group A Everton Bolton Wanderers Cheltenham Town Blackpool Northern Group B Wolverhampton Wanderers Chesterfield Crewe Alexandra Accrington Stanley Northern Group C Stoke City Bradford City Morecambe Bury Northern Group D Blackburn Rovers Fleetwood Town Carlisle United Oldham Athletic Northern Group E Derby County Port Vale Doncaster Rovers Mansfield Town Northern Group F Sunderland Rochdale Hartlepool Notts County Northern Group G Middlesbrough Scunthorpe United Cambridge United Shrewsbury Town Northern Group H Leicester City Sheffield United Grimsby Town Walsall Read more at www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/pompey-to-play-reading-bristol-rovers-and-yeovil-town-in-efl-trophy-3209536.aspx#M0IX3vtqQyVYOMuQ.99

Looking at the Cat A academies left there will not be many potential England players. There will obviously be talented lads, but Chelsea, for example, have so many young players, with lots on loan, that their team will probably be second string/fringe U21s.
Will Reading use Mr Majestic stadium for the U21 games?

Look at EFL website to confirm that.

Look at EFL website to confirm that.
- 16 groups of 4 teams organised on a regionalised basis.
- Groups to include one invited club and at least one club from each of Leagues One & Two.
- Clubs to play each other once, either home or away. Invited clubs will play one home game at the club’s first team stadium.
This if from the website, and it's in the EP so it must be right!!! Read more at www.efl.com/news/article/2016/efl-trophy-format-confirmed-for-201617-3170687.aspx#opDvokXLGFUeza8z.99

According to the EFL site we're home for match day 1 and 2 (Reading and Yeovil) and away for match day 3 at Portsmouth.
