Rovers have in their group READING PORTSMOUTH & YEOVIL TOWN play each other home or away
Only half of the Premier League clubs have chosen to enter academy sides into this season's EFL Trophy, with both Manchester sides, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool all opting out.
FA Youth Cup holders Chelsea will compete while Premier League champions Leicester are also participating along with Everton, Stoke, Southampton and West Ham.
West Brom, Stoke, Middlesbrough and Swansea are the other top-flight teams, while Brighton, Norwich, Blackburn, Wolves, Derby and Reading will take part.

I bet you went to Cardiff for the Final on April fools day 007 ? I did. I also went to Southend away last season, and dozens of other games over the years. Its always been the Mickey Mouse Cup in my eyes, but I used to like it. I won't be going to any games in it this year.

I bet you went to Cardiff for the Final on April fools day 007 ? yeah, but we all know it is called the mickey mouse cup as soon as you are knocked out of it and this year is a complete farce before it starts
16,000 for a EFL Trophy GROUP game on aTuesday/Wednesday when history suggests that crowds for the competition are s**t

Neither will I, and I certainly would of gone to Yeovil, and possibly Portsmouth, if it weren't for the B team idea.

if we play our youth team we will be fined Is the correct answer and I fully expect the club to abide by the rules. However, it could be argued, history shows nothing ever got changed by subservient acceptance of rules and legislation that people thought were an abomination. And this certainly is in my view. If they won't listen to the people running the clubs, and they clearly don't, then all we as supporters can do is provide passive rejection of this stupid idea by giving it the cold shoulder. It is of course a matter for each individual and their views on it, but personally I would urge everyone to stay as far away from this as possible. How else can we show those who won't listen?

Thin end of the wedge in my view.

It's a f**king shambles of s competition this year if Harry wants to go that's his stupid choice but I'll bet £100 that there won't be 16,000 for our game at Portsmouth. You up for a bet Harry?
Portsmouth might have got that number had they pulled Southampton but to add to the shambles it looks suspiciously like they were put in different parts of the south draw.
I'll be boycotting it full stop.
