hopefully he will get time to bed in before he's slated. I wouldnt be so sure not with some of the experts we have "supporting" the team, the same ones now begging taylor to sign who gave him ear ache week after week.

Not mentioned (unless I missed it somewhere) if he can play against Posh?

Probably not as he is on loan from them, but others may know more.

hes had a poor time of it since his big transfer to peterborough,2 goals in 62 games i think and bradford ended his loan spell 4 months early so im not over pleased with this. but hes young and lets hope he can get his career back on track with us.

150 league games and only 21 Posh paid Pool £500kfor him Looked good when he played against us at the Mem. Good signing. Suspect Ellis wont be too happy ! Ellis has to improve - simples !

But if you look at the detail for last season, before he went back to Hartlepool those appearances were 5 minutes here and there. When he did go back to Hartlepool, he got more playing time, but for a dreadful team.
I would guess that this is a player that DC (and more especially, Marcus Stewart) want to develop, rather than make an immediate impact.

I think that is what DC was saying. Hopefully the likes of Stewart and Easter can help him develop.
Having seen him before he looked like a decent player. It could be a case of not quite being ready for the 'big money' move. He is still a young lad. Wouldn't be surprising if Luke and Ellis had a lot to relate to in terms of expectation and getting careers back on track

yes he could be a good addition if he gets his confidence back but if hes a direct replacement for matty taylor then im a bit concerned.

This is what he's capable of, scoring a brace against us in 2013 . . .

Chatting to some "posh" mates... they were very impressed when Luke arrived and reckon he had the potential to be one of the best strikers they have brought in ( and posh have had some good ones) However, they also felt he was a "chairman's transfer" and the manager did not want to play him or support him. All in all, bags if potential if the right manager/ coaches can get the best from him. quite encouraging IMO.

Looked good
But he missed a one on one for his hat-trick
And Matt Harrold looked good in that clip
