Transfer list by Exeter for a foul mouthed tweet. Personally think he would be a good signing if he wanted to come back here. Thoughts?

Nah. Not for me.
A CB with a bit of pace would be a useful addition, IMO.
Not a carthorse like Coles.

Worse ideal than Cureton coming back. At least Cureton was a decent bloke!

coles is a total plum and has proved it time and time again.
he's also not a very good player.
I'm not a big fan of Tisdale but he must be very very happy now.
Coles was under a lot of pressure last season but I got the feeling Tisdale couldn't do what he wanted with him (i.e. totally drop him, get rid of him). So he played the waiting game and let Coles dig his own grave. I would say 'genius' but Tisdale was also the man who took Coles from us (cf; best Gas transfer ever) and gave him a new 3 year deal in 2012.

Surely if Tisdale wanted him gone he'd at least stripped him of the captaincy. If nothing else that would have shown Coles who the boss was.

From the Bristol Post . . . . . . and NO, I don't think that it would be a good idea to have him back. He gives the impression of being a serial troublemaker, and he's certainly seen better days.

During England's World Cup game against Uruguay, Coles tweeted: "(England defender Phil) Jagielka is a car crash waiting to happen", to which a fan replied "so like you for Exeter". If the young Exeter fan seen he was a lemon like we did then a definite NO to a return to us.

But as Martin Dobson and Dave Penney found out here, when 'senior players' gang up against you you need to tread carefully. Looks like Tisdale got it right. Wait and let Coles dig his own grave.

The blokes a total waste of space.
Don't want him anywhere near the club and can't understand anyone who does

Definately, have a look at his fitness levels and if he impressed, would give him a season. Since leaving BRFC, IMO he has always played well against us. UTG
