There's an answer to you question, btw, which includes the word 'credibility' but the bigger issue is 'he's gone, get over it.'

Do we still need to keep comparing? The old is the old and the new is the new. We are where we are and we move on which the new board are doing. The current owners seem very open and work hard at keeping the fans aware of what is happening. That it's not moving as quickly as many would like is to be expected, the biggest problem for the new owners is managing the fans' high expectations. UTG!

They're probably so keen to give us some good news that they got crossed wires and jumped the gun a bit. I'm sure it'll be sorted in due course. Where is the alternative site people are talking about?

"...I think the next announcement probably won't be pre-announced.."
What if the next announcement is: "The next announcement will not be pre-announced"? Will that not be pre-announced either?

He's gone but it begs the question how bad was the deal that he accepted but didn't sign? The club could have been buggered if Sainsbury's had lost the court tussle. I'm pleased that the new owners have kept it confidential but it would be interesting to know in the future what we didn't sign and what we are on the road to agreeing to.

Well, the numbers didn't add up, so you can extrapolate from there. Debt free and wholly owned, but which bit owned by who? Or are we not allowed to discuss this because it's history and without Higgs we wouldn't be where we are today, or something?

Go on, have a pop at answering, nothing much will happen, you'll get a couple of angry apologists getting a bit narky for a day or two, but nothing they say will stand up to any critical analysis. Or maybe the fact that you know when to leave things like this alone and I don't is why you have friends and I'm Billy no mates

All resigned to history and best left there but I'm sure we will learn a few truths (they do exist) as the next few months go by. These guys won't want to be unpopular due to somebody else's mistakes. edit: I should add, there are a few of us who quite like you.

Werent we working on the deal back in January? So just let me ask if NH had released todays non statement what would your reactions have been? At the moment the only difference I have noticed between the old and new is one is better at pr A main difference is that the new lot have only been in place since February and they have a lot of credit in the bank. If we are still no further forward 6-12-18 months from now then patience will will inevitably start to wear thin. Todays situation only occurred because of what Hamer said last week, perhaps giving away a bit too much information?

If we are still no further forward 6-12-18 months from now then patience will will inevitably start to wear thin. Todays situation only occurred because of what Hamer said last week, perhaps giving away a bit too much information? Exactly as I see it too PG. Blige, they've only been here a few months and achieved a fair old bit as I see it. The old regime (I do apologize for bring them up once more but it's so relevant) had lost ALL credibility by the time they'd sold the club. Does anybody on here seriously disagree with that? Seriously?? Whereas the new guard have only been here a short while and have brought in professional people with a clear and proven track record confirming their commitment in delivering a new stadium. They have given a clear statement in how they want to build the club and the team and so far have been true to their word on that as I see it. Are we seriously trying to find fault with them so early on after a previous regime whose level of expertise was a second hand microwave oven seller and a builder who failed to build after many years, messed up with the Mem purchase big time dragging BRFC through the courts chasing a pot of gold that was NEVER at the end of the mythical rainbow, borrowed Wonga style money that would have driven us to the brink. Are we comparing Wael & Co and their collective creditability with this??? Really? Give them time to deliver. Their only possible crime so far as I see it is maybe being a bit too open with supporters with communication - The total opposite to what we complained about for years. Like KP, I won't believe any new promised stadium until I'm sat in it at the first match (too many false dawns will never change that no matter who ran the club!) but that said I do firmly believe they will deliver where all others before them have failed. At least give them a chance, hey?
