I worked this morning, ad then did a spot of gardening, we have a lovely bird table and see lots of different birds feeding every day, it really is quite relaxing to watch. However, apparently I ruin it all by insisting on shouting 'Shoot the b'stard!' every time a robin lands to feed. Does anybody else wife not understand them?

No ones wife can understand why they are being offered up so readily to Rory Gaffney

Robins are actually far too nice to be associated with that pit in BS3 and the club that infests it.
Curious and friendly little birds.
As long as we have forums where we can start arguments and Youtube where Sammy Igoe, Mans and Lee Brown get us promoted every day, there's no such thing as a 'Rovers free day'.

I have actually been able to enjoy the mundane things that you can do on a Saturday , and a more relaxed Sunday because I am not catching up, but only because I have a time limit on it. In August, when we start with 4 new faces in the squad, and we have an indifferent first 5 matches which lead to a little tension, I shall look back on June weekends wistfully. Just so you know how it will go; we will make steady progress and by middle of April 2017 we will have nerve shredding, exciting, agonising, scintillating, exasperating, joyous, depressing but unrelentingly well supported last couple of weekends when we make top 6 again. Not predicting beyond that but looking forward to late May 2017 where my finger nails grow again and I shake off the haunted 'golum' look of the previous month.

No red breasts through my window today. Black and yellow, blue and white. Mainly great tits.

Robins are nasty territorial bullies with a vile red colour that tend to poo everywhere and as for the birds...

It does always give me a little smile that for a club whose fanbase thinks they're such a bunch of ultras their nickname is 'the robins'. Hardcore.
