Well whilst on the subject of wishing well to ex Gas......
Peter Beadle is taking Hereford FC to Wembley on 22nd to play Morpeth in FA Vase Final. 19,000 Hereford tickets sold which is surely most of the town! Now that is a club coming back from extinction.

Now that is a club coming back from extinction. 19000 is a staggering amount, probably dwarfs the total attendance of previous Vase finals. I know it's a double header this year, so I assume a bumper attendance will be declared. However, I can't see many Halifax and Grimsby fans going for the 12.15 Vase KO, when their game doesn't kick off until 4 hours later.

Watch those goals he scored in derby matches for us in the 90s. What a hero.

Watch those goals he scored in derby matches for us in the 90s. What a hero. And then remember that he joined City and scored against us, totally negating his hero status.

Seem to recall him refusing to condemn one of his supporters for giving a linesman a headwound with a coin, saying that I wish Hereford as a club well.

That was when he was Newport Manager, they played Swansea in the first round of the cup. I think Newport were Conference South then and the tie was at Spytty Park.

Saved me from writing that. He really did unsettle our lot btw. It was bang out of order and I won't be wishing him well. You get what you deserve most of the time

Well, as a former Hereford United supporter along with the Gas who are my first concern, I am pleased they got their arses kicked yesterday.Squalid doesn't begin to describe this new outfit particularly those of them that set up Hereford FC while Hereford United were struggling to survive. They killed off The Bulls and now want to take the credit for the previous regime's exploits. Bollocks to Beadle as well.

What did happen then?

Hereford took a 3rd of the local population to Wembley whereas FGR took 5,000 which is almost everyone living in Nailsworth, or at least the equivalent of, but FGR is a 'plastic club' full of killers according to some. Beadle was a #### to our club and some people have good memories, the bloke showed he still can't be trusted, how many football's was he trying to smuggle out of Wembley under that suit?
