It's being reported on Twitter Wael has given the team 100k to go to Vegas to celebrate.

Even if this was true Wael has far too much class to allow it to become public knowledge.

I could be wrong, but I thought that this was reported a few weeks ago, at the time that all of the squad were offered a one-year contract in the event of promotion.
I don't think that the Las Vegas trip was dependent though.

It's probably the ransom he paid to get out of The Vic!

DC has his stag do in Vegas and the players were promised a trip there if they got promotion.

We spoke to a certain players mum and dad on the way home and it is indeed true that the squad is being taken to Vegas as a result of winning promotion.

It's probably the ransom he paid to get out of The Vic! I was told that the vic closed immediately after we scored because rovers fans drinking inside celebrated wildly and the sheedhead landlady wasn't having it. it seems strange to me that the pub isn't boycotted because of her shocking beer, allegiance to c*ty and her poor attitude towards us.

Cannot afford the Four Seasons.

I Don't care if she's 'having it' or not, Lansdown has blown £100 million quid, even Higgs only managed to lose a couple of million, now we are breathing down their necks. They are stuck with a rusty heap of a stadium with a sticky plaster on it, with no car park worth mentioning and dire access, we've got a new fit for purpose stadium coming. They don't like it up 'em do they Think I'll pop down there tonight with my replica Windass shirt, that'll cheer the old bat up.

If memory serves me correctly Four Seasons is (or was) the only hotel on the Strip without a casino.

Can confirm they're not going to Vegas now, it was all spent on Grey Goose in Pam Pams.

The only things that I recall that were on top of other things were the - ahem! - ladies who work there. I, of course, made my excuses and left.

I asked Claire outright if she was told to close and she gave me a rant in reply. She went on one about damage to the pub and clearing rubbish etc. There was no damage last season and I do honestly believe it was because we got promotion. It was spiteful and I won't be going in again. I don't like the place in all honesty and I did not expect the rant. She lost a lot of money by closing.

They were open again at about 10 and punters were spilling out into the road. Looks as if she got over her moral dilemma when she got a sniff of cold hard cash. Anyway, the funniest thing Saturday night, it looked as if a single poor bloke was sent out with one of those push along road sweeping carts, some black bags and a brush to clean up around The Vic and The oak, poor bloke didn't stand a chance, the piles of cans and plastic glasses were as tall as he was. Last I saw of him he was just stood there with his cart looking at a mountain of cans he'd swept up into a pile

From what I saw (from a distance must admit) was most of the cans being chucked up towards the roof. Must be piles of cans up there.

Maybe we should appeal that piece of pettyfoolery to FIFA. Has anyone got any contacts there?
