Not so long ago we were disappointed to get a draw at Stevenage as they parked the bus in an effort to gain the point they needed to stay up. Having achieved safety fair play to them for competing in the same way yesterday at Stanley. With a little luck they kept going to the end ensuring a Rovers win would send us up automatically. Thanks a million and good luck in the future.

Thanks Stevenage.
Accies can rest assured daggers gave 100%, they were certainly not on the beach. Keeper was superb. I'll guess their fans would be frustrated cud if they defended like that all season they would probably still be in l2.

Thanks Stevenage. Accies can rest assured daggers gave 100%, they were certainly not on the beach. Keeper was superb. I'll guess their fans would be frustrated cud if they defended like that all season they would probably still be in l2. From the Daggers' site:
John Still was delighted with the efforts of his young Daggers side today, despite the late defeat. “I made a few changes at half time and the back four for the second half could have been the youngest in the clubs’ history. They all stood up and worked brilliantly. Christian Doidge had to play wide right at the end. Certain times in my life you get beat and I’m still proud of the team and today is one of them. “Bristol Rovers are a good club and a football city. We gave them a scare at 1-1 when they cleared our effort off the line. We were struggling a bit leg wise and experience wise in the second half. Did I want to hold on? Of course I did. But did I want to begrudge Bristol Rovers? Not particularly. Whatever team it was that could have gone up I wouldn’t have begrudged them because a promotion is over 46 games in a season just like we didn’t go down today we went down over 46 games this season. “If we played like that for 46 games we wouldn’t be worrying about relegation. I think we have found a bit of Dagenham spirit. Today was a good game for Dagenham and a great day for Bristol Rovers. There’s an unbelievable amount of work for me to do here and it has started but as I’ve always said here at Dagenham, we aren’t going to find the article here, we have to find the raw material to make the article. The aim is to come straight back up that’s what you have to aspire to do.”
