Bristol Rovers Community Champions Tournament will be a completely free fun filled morning of activities to celebrate the final game of the season. The event is open to all young people between the ages of 12-16 and is organised by Bristol Rovers Community Trust. The event is taking place on Saturday 7th May from 10am-1pm at Fairfield High School Astroturf, Muller Road, Bristol BS7 9NE. Activities will include a 7 a side football tournament delivered by Bristol Rovers Community Trust coaches and we will also be offering the opportunity to try out your basketball skills with coaches from the Bristol Flyers, show off your boxing skills in the ring with Riverside Youth Project or even learn self-protection with epic Martial Arts, and if this is all too much our young fans can dance along to the sounds of our live DJ. The Asda Foundation will also be providing free refreshments and support during the event. There will also be a Speed Shot competition in our new speed cage, a Keepy Up competition and medals for the winners. There will also be spot prizes of pairs of tickets for our sold out final home game of the season later in the day for the young people showing the best attitude and effort during the event. The event is completely free but all attendees will need to register on the day before taking part in any event. For further information call Adam on 0117 9524002 or visit www.bristolroverscommunity.org.uk/

Sounds like a good morning out to me for the kids, hopefully to be complemented by our automatic promotion later the same day.

Hopefully one activity will be "run on the pitch after getting promoted".

Hopefully one activity will be "run on the pitch after getting promoted". I normally wouldn't encourage this sort of behaviour but even I might sneak onto the pitch if we do actually get promoted Saturday, providing the safety gate is open (I'd be unable to get over the perimeter fence) and the Police horses aren't trotting around the ground
