So if you include seats which the club don't expect to be available for matchday sales and assuming last season's holders all renew their seats we are looking at around 5000, up from 3500 last season. A decent start.

Refreshing how the club are being so open about the figures.

Refreshing how the club are being so open about the figures. The figures are actually from the supporters club. Anyway, after a three year gap I decided to get a season ticket today and was told there were only a couple of seats left in the. DriBuild stand where I have purchased. Clare said it had been manic for season tickets, so casual supporters will no doubt be disappointed next season if they want to sit!

I think seats are still being held for this season's ticket holders to apply for their seats until a certain deadline, so only those which have no season ticket holder for this season are currently available for next season.

Yes that is what Clare said. So some may become available from 1 June but I suspect not many. The only seats available in the DriBuild will be reserved for corporate meals. I suspect the West Stand will also be pretty much sold out too. The price of success or blind optimism!

During the period Bristol Rugby were playing in the Premier League they organised the provision of the Guinness Stand that provided an additional 600 seats as they couldn't supply the demand for seats. It meant there had to be a reduction in the capacity of the Blackthorn End by 600 to ensure the ground didn't go above its licensed capacity so if there were to be sufficient demand for additional seats then the club could consider doing something similar.
