There's a video of him on You tube being interviewed isn't there where he explains what he's here to do and what he did previously ?

This appointment might have something to do with a rumour I heard down the river.
Bristol Rovers are known to have been courting investors from the east, and members of a Jordanian banking family, namely the Al Qadis, are interested in buying the club! Negotiations are ongoing, but as someone In The Know, I can reveal they will be our new owners. I haven't mentioned it until now because the Awful Nicholas Higgs has been trying to maintain some kind of shareholding and thus directorship, but it seems a former director is set to scupper his plans in shareholding negotiations, and Wael Al Quadi will be announced as President, with the Al Qadis owning the club outright. Hang on in there, as I fancy Matty Taylor to score goals in the spring so we could have a promotion chasing run-in too.

More anti board rubbish, I didn't think even this forum would stoop so low and as for the Matty Taylor/promotion chasing run-in comment...are you for real ?

This made I laugh. I have no idea why old news is being posted but the replies have been funny. I hear that the potential new owners have said there may be a wolf somewhere within the club and are lookimg to get this sorted

I heard Don Megson was looking to leave Rovers and take up the manager's job at Portland.
