I see on Northampton's official site (via Rovers Appreciation Facebook) there is a warning about car parking for Saturday's game. It affects the North (tarmac) car park. I've always used their South (non-tarmac) car park. Anyway, here's the warning: Travelling funfair in North car park
Please note that a travelling funfair has hired part of the North Car Park from the Homes and Communities Agency. This will reduce car parking in that area at the Bristol Rovers game, although an alternative car park opposite will be open. With a large crowd expected, supporters are advised to please arrive early and allow extra time for parking. link to Northampton's site

I wondered how the Cobblers were doing so well on a shoestring budget.
Perhaps rent from the funfair helps foot the bill, but that can't be the sole reason.

Don't worry about the Funfair etc... It seems to be there for at least half of our home games and doesn't really affect our parking much IMO. There is the south car park right next to the ground (£4 though) and there is another car park (£2 or £3 I think?) which is off the previous roundabout to your right when approaching the ground from the Oxford direction (jct 15A of M1) That's about another 400 yds away. Safe travels! Cheers!
