Warnock has done a great job there in a short space of time regardless of tonights result.I think long term Rotherhams prospects are far brighter than Citys.

Fantastic player that Derbyshire. Goal was right in front of me, in fact both were. Typical Warnock side. Very hard to break down, organised and a fair bit cynical at times.
Point for both and MK losing probably not the worst night.

I think most teams scrapping away trying to avoid relegation can be accused of being cynical but I'm sure Warnock will ensure his teams play it to the limit.

The good thing about the Teds staying up is that there is a good chance they will have another season of struggle, especially with Johnson as boss. One slip and they could be back playing us for games that matter.
Preston doing well this season surprisingly!! Apart from that money seems to talk in the championship.

Had very mixed reactions from Barnsley people. Some said he was awful and no good, others very sad to see him go. I was underwhelmed at his appointment and still a bit on the fence on him. Looks like he's keeping us up which is superb achievement but next season - where I'd like to see us top 10 - will be the benchmark for me.

Full credit to LJ though. He's done some job since arriving. Responded to Hull by taking 4 points from 6 against 2 form sides in the division.
Looks like you won't be getting your derby game no matter what you end up doing next month.
Now we are staying up we need to plan and try and keep any of the loanees. Tomlin, Odemwingie, Baker are bloody good.

Tomlin, Odemwingie, Baker are bloody good. That was one hell of a result yesterday fella. I don't understand how your team can play so well in one game then be literally ripped apart in another. I was and am one of those that said the teds would not go down. The only danger I thought you may have was that your squad was not big and if you had Kodija or others injured then it would have been a real danger. As for next season, I guess we will see just how interested SL will be as it now seems that the prem is a super league and the championship is what the prem was, if that makes any sense ? I don't see any of this being down to LJ though. I have a lot of Ted friends and they are all of the opinion that this is still very much Cotts team but that the guys, who worked with them daily, are responsible for the turn around. Forgive me but I don't know the name of the guy or guys who were in temporary charge but I think they are the ones who have helped the most. The concencus, amongst my Ted friends, is that it was basically down to Cotts sticking to a formation that just wouldn't work at that level, would this be a fair summation mate ?

Well I'd start off by saying I'm neither an LJ basher or superfan. I was quite underwhelmed at his appointment (then again I was SC and he provided the best season in some time).
However I will say that he's made more positive decisions on the team and performance than Cotterill would.
I didn't want SC sacked. I thought he deserved more time BUT when I look at what's happened since. Would we be 10 points clear of the drop zone after 40 games? Would we be so much more resilient at the back (Hull away aside)? I very much doubt it.
Is it SC's side? Odemwingie, Tomlin, Matthews, Bobby Reid in the centre, Joe Bryan at left back? Playing 4 at the back with Flint and Baker in the middle?
I loved Cotterill. I loved his passion, his arrogance, his anger at losing, his acknowledgement of the fans all the time - but his non making of substitutions, the fact he never took Wilbraham off when he was showing all the pace of my gran and blowing like a 90 year old man running a marathon... His insistence on 3-5-2 against quality Championship sides? Letting teams like Ipswich run riot down the gaps we left. It had to change.
Johnson has made some inspiring substitutions. Changed it up when needed (Fulham half time) and brought about so much more solid side.
The first part of the job is done which was to keep us up. Now we need to see how he consolidates the side to make us a decent Championship side. Then we start looking up towards play off stuff. Jury is out with me but I'll support him through it.

Perhaps Kingswood, who asked the question? And I care. Bristol City's league position is one that we should aspire to and beyond and not get some sort of satisfaction at achieving a similar league position just because you had been relegated.
