Oh, something I've been meaning to say about some of the questioning, by some, of Liam Lawrence's early performances ... Yes, he is an experienced player, and yes he has played as a wide midfielder, as well as central. But until he came to Rovers he had never played wide left before. So not only did he have to get up to speed with his fitness, and new team-mates, he also had to get used to a new position. Even for someone with his experience the new perspective must take time to master. The wrong foot wide player is something DC likes, with the left-footed Billy Bodin operating on the right. It means them cutting back inside quite a bit, They did swap for a while, after a corner, in the first half. Then when Monty comes on he usually plays down the left. Gives the opposition lots to think about, I suppose. Monty's left-footed though.
