Amazing turnaround in our last eleven matches at the Mem....ten wins and one draw v Plymouth
You do the maths 31 points from a possible 33 ....remarkable stats and dare I say it PROMOTION FORM ?
Plus Matty Taylor ten goals in his last eight matches ...the new Jamie Vardy ?
Bring on the Cobblers !

Bring on the Cobblers, indeed! Over the last 8matches, we are top of form guide by a whole three points. In fact, no one is near us with winning 7/8. And Northampton? They're 9th in the form league.. *shock look!* www.soccerstats.com/latest.asp?league=england4

Congratulations to DC and team. I posted after Stevenage match when he was getting some stick that we needed to trust in DC but that he had better sort out the home form. I guess with 10 wins and a draw in last 11 home matches we can say he has done that very successfully. In DC we trust! Keep that up for next 3 home games and I think we will be up! UTG!

We are good enough to go to most places and pick up a result. Just have step.and be counted for and take the game to the opposition we are much better at doing that than sitting back. I think it tell with the crowd growing frustrated and puts it's on edge, show some intent from the first whistle and crowd will sing them home.

Win next Saturday and we'll finish 2nd is my bet.

I think that if Rovers play like they did at Oxford (and not like at Accrington or Pompey) then a good result is possible. Holmes is their player to watch imo, stop him and that's half the battle won.

Well we'll be at full strength for this game, my problem is that in the two games against Accrington and Pompey a certain Liam Lawrence was playing, well as against Oxford he wasn't. If Lawrence plays we'll be over run as we have in every away game he's been involved with. I'm not expecting it but I would prefer to see Montano in for him who gets up and down the pitch whereas Liam goes side to side but I'll leave it to DC as what do I know about managing a team of professional football players

I have been wondering which players DC will pick for this one. I think that he will play 3 central defenders and wingbacks. I would like to see Easter play behind the front 2 again,I missed Carlisle but SteveK said that he did well there and it seems like a good place for him to play,Easter said that he enjoyed it too. I would start with Mcburnie up front,I was impressed with his aggressive attitude at Newport and he might shake the Northampton defence. The midfielders are the problem (imo),with Mansell and Sinclair out its either Lines/Lawrence or Lines/Ollie Clark.
I think that central midfield and central defence need strengthening in the summer but that's another subject.

Liam Lawrence is fine against teams like we were playing yesterday. I hope that DC realises that against the better opposition he has look off the pace and need players who can keep up with the game and get back to help the rest of the side. For me yesterday, that was the worst ive seen Lee Brown play for a while and i think that is down to the person he has in front of him. Montano by rights shoudl be in the side even DC said, that hes been fantastic last 10 games, well lets play him.

I think we were unbalanced yesterday. Bodin isn't an out and out winger - but he does hold his position. Lawrence keeps drifting into mid-field - and I think this is why Brown struggled yesterday. We looked so much better when Montano came on. Northampton are a physical strong side and I don't think Lawrence should start.

i know Rovers allocation has sold out, but what was the allocation amount? and will any others be going hoping to get in on the off chance?,, home tickets are still available, so not a sell out as yet,but only at their official outlet from Monday, interesting to see they go to Exeter, and Pompey is their last game of the season at Fratton Park

I shall be doing the beam back for this. Hoping we go for the win as we seem a much better side when we do so. From lookimg like we had a toothless strike force, we now look like we have a few who really want the ball. I am loving this, just loving it
