Firstly apologies to all on here for there being a "chippenhamred" made me sick when I read that!!! The infection is worse than I thought!!! Secondly they're not the senior side in Bristol, we are whichever date you go by (1890's or 1982), thirdly, I have to say that Chippenhamred talked sense on there, maybe it's not living in Bristol, that 22 or so miles between us that gives perspective? In conclusion I'd say to them, enjoy the reverb, yes it'll be new seats, better facilities, and I'm sure they'll fill the ground out and feel all nice and superior for a year or two, but when we get our stadium built..........

Showing some surprising insight and balance the best posting, as far as I could be bothered to read, was, "I think both sets of fans complain about bias, for the record I don't believe they are bias but are just totally incompetent..."
A colleague when interviewed in a shopping area about whether he found a paper useful said that he did, the interviewer got excited and asked, "Really?" to get the response, "Yes I use it to line the floor of the guinea pigs' cage."

They won't even really enjoy it that much because they know that our stadium is about to start, and it's all being planned to be sustainable. And whether such a ''massive'' club like it or not, we have at least as many supporters as they do. Personally I would feel embarrassed rather than superior if our owners had chucked something like £100,000,000 at the project and all we had achieved was about a 10 place gain in the FL pyramid.

Poor little Teds,
A billionaire owner financing a stadium makeover and covering all their debts in the 2nd tier whilst offering multi million pound bid for players. Life must be tough...
Why would a local rag be biased against them when they could sell more papers to their MASSIVE army of fans?

But, of course, they are indifferent to us and have no interest in Bristol Rovers and don't see us as their rivals. Priceless stuff

Funny really but when anyone starts a thread that asks us to view that place, I feel Ted alert
