1986gas is (possibly) to be the Attendant at the new UWE carpark. He used to do that a Bristol Zoo until they cotton on to him.. Unfortunately, that's an urban myth and never happened.

Absolutely no authority whatsoever, just a small involvement with certain aspects. Now that tells me something and nothing! It's easy enough to get the email and phone numbers of Steve Hamer. If you are able to send Wael a message then he often replies too. There is really none of the secrecy and ITK stuff now. You can ask them yourself and I've found both to be pretty open but it's hard to get any period of time as everyone wants to talk with them

It was 1.2% per month compounded, not flat, and probably a bundle of loan facility fees to be added. Also I think I had the sum borrowed incorrect, local press reported it as £2.4m rather than £2.1m. But both figures have been mentioned, so I don't know which is correct. Also, Terry (Cheshire Gas) who seems pretty clued up on financial stuff warned about the high costs of extending these loans. I made it clear that everything said about Nick's personal situation was assumption rather than statements of known fact. How much did he receive from the sale of Cowlin? Maybe he didn't have the money, or didn't have access to the money, but you would have thought that the BoD between them could have raised £2.1 / £2.4m? i also understand that £1m approx of the loan was to pay Barclays who no longer wanted to play ball with us i also understand getting the "Wonga" loan was the quickest way to payback Barclays because they wanted it PDQ It's funny when you can look back on this now. When I posted that Barclays had actually called in their loan, I got a fair hammering. It was Barclays doing that which set into motion a series of events that led to this really. There was no super plan but a series of decisions that were forced upon the last board. I am just grateful that we got lucky. I will send a message to you

Now as a middle ager with premature victor meldrew syndrome that is one job I would relish, 'your parked outside the lines, park it properly now or you'll be towed away', oh yes I can just see that being a right old giggle. That's it Dido you have knocked me off course for work aspirations, if the club throw in a whistle and luminous jacket it's a deal!

But for all the wrong reasons lmfao. I can't help but think that it had to be done as a bet or as a wind up. I just can't believe it was done any other way or maybe I just don't want to believe it lol. That is a photo that I just can't get rid of and I hope that I will be able to use it just to show how far we have progressed. I can remember seeing it as if it were now. Me and a few Kingswood blokes just stood and looked on in disbelief. If Jimmy Saville could do santas grotto eh !
