Does anyone know the rules and/or deadline for this please?
If we're allowed some, could we please sign a living God who may be a Scouser?

I believe that Stevie G is already under a watertight contract.

I believe that Stevie G is already under a watertight contract. That's ok. We'll have the far more modest genius that is Emperor Lambert then.

IF the signing were achievable, you would expect that it would be popular with most BRFC supporters. But IF it were to be achieved, then I doubt that it would be welcomed by all and sundry . . . even in this enlightened era. Folks will be folks.

Sir Rickie today is not the player we remember, by a long chalk.

Sir Rickie today is not the player we remember, by a long chalk. A lot better than that.

For all that Lambert could bring in the highly unlikely event it happened, I think it would do more harm then good we have strikers who are now bang in form its the last place we need to strengthen in my opinion, maybe another midfielder but not a striker.

I thought he was a midfielder? fat and lazy? I don't think anybody used the word lazy but maybe it's been added through time.

This Lambert stuff is a joke, its past, why would he join a bottom tier club. It's not far off city fans thinking Moyes was going to take over

I'd prefer a decent centre half along side Tom Locker, would be my only signing, do we really need anything else than a decent back up left back ? I think DC though has made it very clear that he thinks the group he has are a very tight knit group and doesn't want to go upsetting it with too many 'new' players at this stage of the season. I agree with a few others about Lambert, lets remember him as he was when he was with us, fat/slow/useless and then ....ing brilliant !
