Not unexpected, if true. Kept him on until the court case was out of the way, let him deliver the bad news and got rid.

No inside info, but a friend texted and twitter is awash with it.
Could be a hoax so I'm not celebrating just yet.

It is right(has been known for a few weeks now that his time was up) He is on holiday and has sent messages to members of staff at the Mem,that he will not be back.

Makes the decision to let him publicly speculate on Supreme Court nonsense look even stranger!

I would imagine Wael would probably want to run the business side of the club out of his London office, makes sense IMO, exit stage left for Watola, shake hands and say your good-byes.

Seems slightly odd they kept him on and let him speak after the court case....unless he resigned of course.
Good luck to him, can't say I'm overly sorry from a Rovers perspective.

An employee of a business that is at the important part of its year and he's on holiday why can't he go in the twelve weeks we do not play

Someone had to open those creaky doors and explain the skeletons in the closet. Once that exercise was out the way there was only ever to be one outcome.

Apparently they are currently crossing a few t's and dotting a few i's regarding any severance arrangements. Toni expects to be on site by the summer to pick up his things.

It's that kind of behaviour we're hoping is consigned to the past.

Stayed in UK in the end, got to airport but didn't know the plane was arriving until the final 20 minutes and wasn't quite ready.

Is it true that he was given 20 minutes to clear his desk? Probably hadn't planned for that either!
