My ticket to last night's game was a Mother's Day present. I know how blessed I am. Signed.

Signed - bless them both and football related or not no need to move this thread (or was that on otib). Matters more than our beloved football club.

I had a bad enough experience with my Mum being taken into care & against our wishes and I thought travelling to Yate was bad enough on a daily basis. This is heartbreaking stuff and it really is upsetting when you have had experience of the care system

Hi Syg
I was so sorry to see your post. I would imagine this is a very complicated story which has caused you and your family extreme stress and anxiety.
Please can I ask if your family have been to their local member of parliament to raise this issue? If not, please can I advise you to do this as a matter of course.
If you have tried this avenue, please would you contact me via my email on br467@btinternet.com I make no promises as I don't know the background to this, but I may be able to pass this on in my work capacity only, to people who may be willing to listen. Yours sincerely Brian Seymour-Smith

Very distressing & upsetting. I really hope something can be done. My wife works in NHS Mental Health Trust and it's a very complicated and I think underfunded area.

There is to be a new home for young men with mental issues. Its to be in a converted old peoples home and is in Henbury. The article is about a protest about the way the council went about it not about the home itself.

Signed - it is disgraceful and needs to be bought to national attention.
