On April 23, we will visit the game against Exeter with a group of 12 persons from Holland.
Do you have a supporters-home or clubhouse which we could visit before the game or is there a popular Rovers pub anyone would advise us to go? What will be the expected attendance for this game?
It will be our first visit to The Memorial.

If you go in the bar behind the home terrace ,go in the left door . You can get a day pass to the supporters club bar for 50p from John on the table on the left.

I'm guessing you're from a different group in the Netherlands to John's 'Dutch Gas', as they've been over several times and would know where to visit. Not sure how to insert the photo on here, but this is the link to their flag at Notts County, posted in a 'closed' facebook group: www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10206103140234571&set=g.2215724366&type=1&theaterThere are two bars in The Clubhouse, mentioned before, behind the Blackthorn / North End. Unless things have changed recently, the bar to the right is supporters members and the bar to the left general public. It's a good place for your pre-match build up. - The Wellington pub is 5 minutes from the ground on Gloucester Road. - The Sportsman & Annexe bars are about a 20 minute walk, near the cricket ground on Nevil Road.

Thanks for the replies! Yes we are a different group and we were not aware of John's group and team.
We will try to get into the Clubhouse then. Unfortunately because of the physical conditions of one guy of the group we were forced to buy seating tickets. We have tickets now at the south stand.

Get yourselves known to the club and get on the pitch at half-time like other groups, you're certain of a good reception from the fans and the new owners.

Could be a great game to come to if we are still in the promotion hunt - which I think we will be - most likely play offs but that's a great achievement.
Crowd should be 8/9000 with quite a few from Exeter as it's only 70 miles flown the road.
Up the Gas!! Enjoy!

I'd have thought the game will sell out, 10,000+ if we're still in with a shout of the playoffs or better at that stage of the season.

The Vic should be your choice of place to go for a drink , proper lads in there that will make you feel more than welcome , we had some German lads ( Offenheim fans)that visited before they played Scotland away at Celtic park on the following Monday earlier this season they were given the warmest of welcomes and even came down the Gloucester Road after the game to see more , give it some thought , you can visit the clubhouse at half time if you want a drink and halftime scores

Glad to hear it is allowed to drink during half time anyway! Unfortunately this is not allowed with Cat A games with Ajax anymore. The Vic sounds good!
Will the top 3 get promoted anyway and will number 4-7 have a play off?
Is Bristol city your biggest rival by the way and due to the fact that Exeter is not really far is there also a good rivalry with them?

Groetjes, John

The City (aka s**t) are our biggest rival but are 2 Leagues higher so we dont play them often, about time we caught them up, I give it 3 seasons!! Exeter are rivals, not really a local derby but a West Country Derby, they are a small club from Devon, however they are fan owned and regularly punch above their weight. I like them but not when they play the Rovers. hope you enjoy your trip. Up the Gas!

Welcome Mokum, hope you have a great day with us. Just so you are aware and don't get too disappointed when you arrive at the Memorial Stadium, the South 'Stand' is more like a large tent with seats in it and you will be sat close to some of the away fans but the view isn't too bad. We look forward to welcoming your group on that day. As someone has already mentioned there is already a group who travel from the Netherlands to support us and I see you've already been contacted by John from that Dutch Gas group who can provide more details for your visit.

We were travelling to the away game of Ajax as well in Glasgow. Being near the Exeter fans will mean we will have to practice a lot on Rovers songs during our stay in The Vic!
