my source said there were, but he doesn't know what happened. Have Wycombe hired a firm? Were people caught up in a lightning strike? Was there a quartered-shirt flashmob?

I came out the ground late, they had a group of say 30 surrounded by police and our lot were opposite by our coaches, they ended up having a police escort to get past, loads of provado but no action. The horses were involved to keep us back but I think the police just used us as an excuse to play with their toys.
Wycombe thought they were involved in something but actually it was embarrassing for them

I was in Wycombe today. But grabbed a McDonalds at 9am before going onto the M40. My neighbour went to your game today. I'll hear about it tomorrow probably.

There were a group of Wycombe fans escorted to the ground from about ten minutes out who were having a sing song about Bristol. In fact it seemed they'd forgotten where they were as they were singing "Bristol's a sh!thole I want to go home !". I know because we followed them a short distance behind. In fact so short a distance a Police Officer asked us to keep up with them until I politely explained that we weren't actually with them and so was invited to cross the road away from them. The same group were then escorted out of the ground. Quite frankly they were pathetic, it all looked rather preplanned, I think it was fortunate for them a few of our meatheads weren't there today or else it could have got a bit tastier.

How anyone from High Wycombe can think anywhere except Reading, Swindon or Luton is a s**thole, is beyond me.
