DC emphatically says that Ellis Harrison's loan to Hartlepool will not be extended, as he is required for the run-in here. Listen to the interview here, about 4 minutes . . .

Thats good imho, think we have missed him, when we have needed a late goal or some pace we havent had much to call on, and i dread to think were we would be this season if he had not been here last season, welcome back ellis.

Really very pleased about this. I will continue to give Ellis my full support. Time everyone had a second chance.

Makes sense - all in all Ellis's loan to Hartlepool has been a bit of a farce for all parties. Didn't sound like Ronnie Moore was massively impressed with him, then he got injured, now he's back with us anyway. I stand by my view that as regards getting a contract with someone next season Ellis would be better off as an impact player with a team that's taking a run at the playoffs than a starter in a struggling side at the foot of the table.

he strikes me as..looking at this interview, as a man who does not relish this part of his managerial capacity,,at least for the first 2 minutes he looks like he wants to get it done and out the way, but as the interview goes on he seems to be more relaxed ,less fidgety and more chattier, certainly does not dwell on what has gone, and likes to concentrate on what is in front of him and his team,

Actually if you had read Moores comments on Ellis after he got injured he said he was looking sharp and with more game time was confident he would score regularly for him, hardly unimpressed

I've never liked Ronnie Moore - he is a manager who always publically throws his own players under the bus to protect his own skin.
