Funny that i have to come to to a rovers site to meet a reasonable city fan, and cant get one on a city site! There are a fair few around. The older I get, the more I am finding common ground and I like it that way. I wouldn't change the past as it has bonded me to some great guys but it's very nice to be able to go out and not have to think of what could kick off and of ways to make an exit if necessary. Both clubs have their crazies though it does seem that their forum is not a place to have any decent debate, not without some very nasty and very personal remarks

And you ask people that were there like my old man and he will tell you the club came out the other side of that episode the better for it. It was a long way back but look at us now. A 2nd tier club with a bright future. I remember as a boy shaking Geoff Merrick's hand outside the Dolman stand and being told without him we might not even have a club to watch. Kaiser - that sounds like historic abuse to me - forced to watch Bristol City by a celebrity? Sue them for all they've got!

I don't like Bristol City and find it surprising people want to talk about them on here.
