Having just gone through the nightmare of the last 1-2 years at our club, and in being just a few days away from being wound up last Autumn, (before everything took a miraculous turn for the better!!) I wish you every success under your new owners.
Just watched the full interview with him, and I liked the way he was very humble and conservative, and not bandying around large figures of how much money he was going to spend etc. (usually a sure sign that people have real financial clout when they don't feel the need to boast how rich they are!!) But you can also tell there was a determination and real belief about what he was intending to do with the club also. (And we Cobblers have plenty of experience of watching owners (or potential new owners) being interviewed and spotting the lies from the truths!! )
Anyway, hope things turn out for the best, and look forward to playing you in league 1 & the championship in the next few years as we both climb the leagues!
With your loyal and large fanbase, starved of much success over recent decades, and having to play over at Bath for a while too, (what a cr*p ground that was?!) you finally deserve some good luck and sustained success. (hence feeling an empathy with you as our recent history has some similarities!!) Also used to enjoy the matches against you when Ian Holloway was there!! (remember him bemoaning the pelters that some of the Cobblers fans gave him around the time of those play off semi final matches!! haha!! He said we were some of the most hostile fans he had encountered!? - Not something which is usually aimed at Cobblers, and hence why it tickled us!! He was a very good manager though, and that's probably why he got pelters!!! haha!!
Best Wishes for the rest of the season and future. Shoe-Army!!

Thanks for the post bignose, great to have input from someone who's seen this kind of thing before.
I have to say that I am glad Wael isn't shouting about being in the premiership in a few years time - as you say that is the first sign that it's all going to go tits-up!

I only started watching in 1986 so I am afraid I never got to see us in the 1st Division! Tomorrow (against Wycombe) we are going for an outright club record 9th straight league win (and 18th win out of 21 league matches!) Apparently the all time most successive league wins in all 4 divisions is 14, so there is always something to aim for, eh?! If we can just keep hold of our manager, next season looks worth the investment of a season ticket too!? Oxford seem to have a few injuries stacking up now, (and still have the distraction of a Wembley appearance to come) so if you lot can get your act together, they ought to be catchable.... Accrington play good football, but with their best 2 players already signed to Rangers, (and permanently injured since then it seems!) and with sendings off and games to catch up, I fancy they will tail off, so I reckon the 3rd place is up for grabs. Portsmouth seem pretty erratic, but they are probably the team to finish above to grab the 3rd spot? Better dash, I don't want to turn into one of those people who has nothing better to do than post on other teams forae!!? Best Wishes & see you at our half demolished stadium soon!
