'but Ruth and Roy have supported the club through thick and thin'
typical Grauniad typo - should have read 'thin and thin'

Loved the bit that said" One Saturday I got so exasperated with the officials that I stood up and informed the ref that his eyesight was even worse than mine. The crowd erupted.”
Absolute classic

Good stuff. I wonder how that story made the guardian first? Ruth Williams is a regular contributor to the match programme. In the last programme for the Plymouth game, her article is called "The Matchday Ritual". In the article, she briefly talks about going to the match with her dad.

Theres another blind man that goes to all the away games as well. That might be Paul from Leeds, that I'm sure people on here may know. He's been attending since at least Twerton days, if not before.
