Did anyone actually see what happened to Rory in the 1st half when according to some he was elbowed in the ribs ? Certainly Matty was remonstrating with the linesman about what ever happened. Being in the Blackthorn End all you saw was Rory doubled up on the floor.

Ryan Brunt dropped the elbow into Gaff, very crafty dig that floored the poor bugger
This happened out of sight of the officials as the game was moving down the other end of the pitch.
I have also seen several photos of Gaffney being 'Mugged' by the Plymouth henchmen

I saw it. Stood on the West enclosure it was right in front of me. It wasn't Brunt, it was their defender Hartley. He came alongside Gaffney and dropped an elbow into his lower ribcage. s**tty thing to do, reminiscent of the Leeds players in the 70's. I gave Hartley a load of grief for the next ten minutes and he did look a little sheepish afterwards. Right in front of the linesman too.

But there was never any doubt in my mind because I believe that secretly, he's still one of us.

I guess the other way to look at is that they obviously saw him as a threat to them which is good news if that is the effect he has on them and other teams.

I have a feeling that Gaffney winds defenders up a bit, which is fine by me - all part & parcel of a man's game, provided it doesn't go over the line
