Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but there's a lot of changes at Radio Bristol. Geoff Twentyman is starting a daily sports programme next week, from 6 to 7pm every weekday. Rovers get the Thursday slot, entitled 'Having A Gas'. I'm going to be a guest on his first ever episode, on Thursday 21st. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03f5l6kP.S. Avoid the Monday slot. It's the noisy neighbours... Tues = Rugby, Wed = other local sports, Fri - Round up of the week, and a look forward to the weekend action.

I used to love my Friday evenings a couple of years ago. The rot started when "Twentyman Talks Back" moved from 7.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. Prior to that it was "The News Quiz" or "The Now Show" on Radio Four at 6.30, then over to Radio Bristol for Twentyman, and, at 8-'o-clock Radio Two for "Friday Night is Music Night". Who needs a telly when there's a great choice of radio? Hope the new show will go some way to restoring what was an excellent radio forum for football fans (yep, them as well as us!).

Just wondering, does this mean that Geoff isn't on Saturdays anymore? He's not been on today, and I've missed him!
