Judging by what was said on their forum about ticketing of vehicles parked on the grass verges I would be wary of where we are all parking. The best place is behind the ground but it takes ages to get away unless you leave a bit before the end.

In the past I have got there early and parked right next to the exit of their car park, never had a problem.

On the football ground guide it suggests getting to the ground and using an alternative car park, a little bit further on from the regular ground car park. I'm not sure if this is actually an option or not?? I just don't fancy getting there so early im told to park right behind the goalmouth and end up waiting 3hrs to get out.

Not a lot of options really, you could park in Littlemore and walk to the stadium or drive past the stadium towards Cowley and park in the residential area's, bad thing about this is you will have to walk past the OUFC home areas and this is where most home supporters park. Do not park in the new hotel car park, you will get clamped!

I'd suggest parking in the main car park. If you can avoid getting bitten by the police dogs, buzzed by the helicopter and survive the march around the Blackbird Leys estate, by the time you eventually get through the TV Police cordon, the congestion in the car park should have eased a little.

Normally I'd say get the train but the police make that such a chore at Oxford I'd probably rather walk.
As it is, as close to the exit of the car park as you can is probably the best bet.

Be careful where you do choose, despite it being a Sunday the Council will have their traffic wardens out in force, they certainly do on Saturdays

If you are going to park in Blackbird Leys make sure there is nothing linking you outside Oxford, not saying it is a rough area but I would rather park next to Ashton gate! better to turn right at sainsburys then take the next left towards the kassam but go right around the roundabout and head back to littlemore and park there. Much quicker to get out of Oxford as well.
