Usual crap journalism from the Daily (hate) Mail! Presumably Francis joined Pulis around the time Lyndsay parsons left? Sad that Lyndsay didn't get a mention, he worked with Pulis for many years at many clubs. Any talk of a Rovers connection seems to have been airbrushed out, a bit like Trotsky's photo in pics of the 1930s Soviet politburo!
BTW is the Mark O'Connor at Stoke the winger who used to play for us in the mid-1980s?

Very rude not to mention poor journalism so as to not even mention us Puts things into perspective perhaps? That could well be true & the failed attempt to get Wycombe relegated, instead if us, certainly didn't help us on the goodwill side of things. I find it sad that our club has suffered due to that & it's just another thing that our board has done, that has had a negative effect. We used to have a lot of love from some of the bigger clubs and now, it would seem, that even "uncle" Tony Pulis won't help us out on the loan front. Sorry to go off in a tangent but it's the only real weakness that I see in DC. He has done an incredible job but it takes time, to build relationships with other professional clubs. I also don't think it helps when we do have a loanee but then don't play them. I thought the article was decent but it is a shame that the writer felt it wasn't necessary to mention what was a huge part of his career in football management

Sad news. Gerry is having to auction off his pigeons (swipe to right on picture). ... There is video somewhere of a young teenage Gerry Francis talking about his pigeons on Blue Peter in the 1960s, before he became a footballer. It has been a life long hobby for him.
