*Tho one goes out to all the lazy var stewards out there!*
Thought it would be good idea to start a thread, and continue, of any funny or memorable anecdotes of away venues we are about to visit?
Or even for some of you to admit you're a virgin at this venue?!
First one went ok, lets to see how this goes..
For me....one of the most freezing away matches on April 1st, Easter Monday.
The Tonk had his five minutes of fame, their defence just couldn't handle him. JJ last loan match capped off with a goal. I done the whole day on £40 courtesy of mega bus....things were kinda good....what could possibly go wrong after that fine away victory?

First visit for me was before the new stand we, the away supporters, occupy; from the other end you could see through to the park and behind the goal was a large advert for the local labour MP. I think it was during the reign of John Still, who got sacked today by Luton after having got the freedom of the borough at the start of the year. pirateer must have gone then also, it really was poor, the 'new' stand makes it better. Last time I was there I took a picture of four stewards and four coppers all with their backs to us at the front watching the game. There's not much in the way of pubs there, so what I do is take pot luck on the underground and come out every so often. www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-two/victoria-road-dagenham-and-redbridge.html#apubs-for-away-fans

Only been there the once, and the only memorable thing was an horrendous traffic jam at Swindon, followed by one later approaching the Dartford Tunnel (something to do with a papal visit?) which made for a 5 hour+ trip, we walked in through the turnstile just as the teams kicked off. We did win though, possibly 3-0?
