Come on chaps this is getting a bit boring and chilish now. Anyone DC signs or anything he actually does will be greeted with the same boring blah. Just accept we are at rock bottom and have to work our way up,hopefully the right way without high wages and long contracts. Hence so called underwhelming signings who might well do the business. If not then the 3 year plan will be about right. As for Chester signing Chris Oneuseless, the jokes on them.

At the end of the day it is up to these players to prove to us that they are capable of wearing the shirt. I actually don't see any problem with people being underwhelmed by these signings. In fact, I would be more alarmed if people were hyping up the squad as they have done in previous years!

To clarify, Robbie Sinclair has signed for FGR (as posted in the original thread), whilst Stuart Sinclair (aka The Engine) is training with BRFC . . . or at least he was this morning. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28064972

Wasn't Michael Smith an underwhelming signing a couple of years ago? Look at him now. Give these guys a chance.
As for Gasheadwes, it's a shame the club are not willing to listen to his ideas, however I get the feeling they both need to learn, a little mutual respect goes a long way. And that doesn't mean you have to like them !

Isn't Clive Sinclair brother of Scott Sinclair?
Or am I mistaken?

Isn't Clive Sinclair brother of Scott Sinclair? Or am I mistaken? No that's Frank Sinclair. Welcome to the club Stuart. Prove to us (like all of the signings) that you are worthy of playing in the quarters.

Of course Brizzle, you are right in what she said. Mind you looking at her then, I would have sold my country out for two cheese sandwiches to spend a little while with her. But not of course my club! Topper, you are of course correct. Let's judge the players when we actually see them play. Gashead Wes. With all due respect you are not the only one with a judgement of other players. Perhaps DC knows some players better than you. I don't know why so many on here hold you in such thrall the way they do. If you just stuck to hopefully advising rovers of players you think worthy of a look fair play. But in fact you have suggested about 200 players so far this close season, do you think that can be taken seriously? Anyone can do that. In fact on the Gaslist, as Ian can tell you, there is a guy called Chris Graham, based over in East Anglia. He has suggested many players who have gone on to better things. He also comes up with some brilliant ideas for bettering our club off the pitch. I am told that at last he will be heard. Just plug three of four that are your top rated players, and approach DC . He will always have time for you. Take my word for it. But of course if you want rovers to learn anything from the fan base it doesn't pay to take the p*ss like you do. Show some respect and you might, just might get heard. That can only help everyone connected with rovers to move forward. It's not just the board that have to learn. You had me going then, Brian, until you mentioned Chris Graham! Dear oh dear. fadh

So we have signed Salisburys 2 best players, Gloucester City's best player in the last third of last season and Torquays record appearance holder in recent times.....underwhelmed I was thinking we might go for James Rodriguez.

We can't really blame people for being underwhelmed mind you. I mean we were bringing in Leicester, Watford, Newcastle, Charlton and WBA players a few pre seasons ago! It's going to take some time to adjust.

It's going to take some time to adjust. Yeah, but they didn't help us climb the leagues either. Time will tell, but I get the feeling by recruiting from the division, these are players that will be keen to play for Bristol Rovers and not feeling that they are doing us a favour - like some of those mentioned above.
