Hi again all, Have to break my silence because my BRAND NEW book will be out in about two weeks time, and you can exclusively pre-order it from me hereIt is entitled ‘Print That Season!’ and it is the antidote to obedient season reviews, with none of the hindsight that most writers rely on. Re-live Rovers’ great escape from non-league football in a different approach; through the warts and all, un-edited, meanderings of a Gashead writer (me!) who penned a weekly article to be featured on the Bristol Post web site. Starting after that fateful relegation day against Mansfield Town in May 2014 and culminating 379 days later with a Hollywood ending at Wembley, revisit the ups and downs of a breathtaking season through 55 sparkling and inventive articles (cough!), a smattering of Quite Interesting stats, basic details of each game, two special features, and 80 colour photos, some from towns you never even knew existed and your satnav refused to find. Quite a few of the photos are of groups of Gasheads so you may even see yourself in it. Very small. And going ‘grrrr’ and clenching your fist like most men do into a camera. There are lots of women and children in there as well though… um, that sounds weird now. Ok, delete that bit… Now, where was I? Oh, yes, it’s a signed and numbered limited edition of only 462 books, so get it quick, before it‘s gone. Why 462? Because that how many long, long days existed between Football League matches at the Mem, from Mansfield Town in May 2014, to Northampton Town in August 2015. It should be £9.99 plus postage, and for 192 pages of pure Gas (including 16 pages of colour photos) that in itself would be the best bargain since Britain bought Trident from the yanks BUT for pre-sales I am going doolally and offering it for £8.99, including UK delivery, HEREI genuinely doubt it will ever be this cheap again (including delivery); certainly not before New Year. The minute I get the books in my grubby little hands (ok… clean hands - I‘ll even wear white gloves if that‘ll turn you on enough to buy one) I will get your copy over to you by the fastest method ever known to man or beast (it could be Royal Snail or it could be a hand delivery, using my own little feet), and you will get it before 99.9% of the world have even had chance to ignore it. Summary - One man’s weekly meanderings throughout Bristol Rovers’ promotion campaign of 2014-15
- 192 pages, including 80 colour photographs
- Numbered limited edition of 462 copies, signed by the author.
- ISBN = 978-0955471285
- R.R.P. = £9.99
- 21.0cm x 14.8cm (A5 size - 8” x 6” approx - same size as ‘Away The Gas‘)
take care martin

Many congratulations Martin on yet another wonderful publication. Thanks for delivering mine. One essential book for the fans on a remarkable season with some our own personal images. Some great quotes and one to dip into and remind ourselves what progress has been made at Rovers.
