Christian lee - amazingly dog poo Lee scored two goals in his 8 league appearances for Rovers including one against Bristol City for me that puts him into cult status in what was a struggling side .....raises him well above the mighty Bliss .....

Bliss started for Lincoln yesterday against Woking (remember those happy days?) and was subbed at 69. Got two mentions from BBC for two shots, one of which missed and in a stevek192 style report from a fan got 1 point and that was for tying his laces correctly!

I remember lots of comments on this forum, and other social media, after the home game against Kiddermminster last year, saying Bliss was just the type of striker we needed and we should put a bid in.
My thoughts at the time were 'really? based on one game?' - he had scored a good goal but I couldn't remember much else he did in that game. I expect a lot of the ones that were screaming for us to sign him are the same ones that have been putting him down now.
We have our fair share of clots out there: the ones that give an ironic cheer when Bliss wins a header; similar treatment to goalkeepers; negative comments about Taylor, and a fair share of others over the years. How exactly is this supposed to help the team? Why is it that even when we have a successful team people feel the need to focus on someone they think is crap or not as good as others?
Bliss was raw, he was a trier, he hasn't really been given much of a chance, he may not be the one for us now, but he was part of a promotion winning team. Bliss, if we've seen the last of you in a Rovers shirt, thank you for the part you played in restoring our League status.

Kayne McLaggon was dreadful He played five minutes plus two lots of injury time in total for us, the majority against Aston Villa. I think youre being a bit harsh!

Spoke to Kiddi fans after that game about Bliss, they said that all opposition fans think he's great after seeing him once, but your opinion would change if you watched him regularly. Back on topic, Ben Swallow and Mitch Harding, 57 appearances between them, goal total, a big fat zero.

Bliss started in our last game at Mem in that league, play off win v FGR and wasn't subbed. If he's good enough to start in a team that won promotion last season, it makes sense he has something to offer to any team in the division below. Not every player matures at the right rate, I look on it that we has evolved quicker than his own development so it's best for all concerned to cut ties and wish each other well..

Fair enough, he wasn't really much of a winger either. In that case I'll replace Swallow with Adam Virgo. That shouldn't trouble the statisticians.
