It is interesting to see that the Bristol City Supporters Club and Trust nominated the Ashton Gate Stadium as an Asset of Community Value back in September 2014. Their listing expires in 30/10/2019. A year later in September 2015 The Bishopston Society nominated the Mem. This will expire on 06/11/2020. Source - link

I wonder if the club was consulted on this at any time, as the legal owners of the site i'm sure they would have had a input to it Or is this part of NH Plan "B" ? ( you want a sports stadium here so help me pay for it type thing) No they would not be part of it. I can testify that 100% as a former pub landlord. Punch Taverns hate this Community assets because it holds up selling pubs for other uses (I was a member of a group that visited the house of commons to make sure the bill went through). Unfortunately the bill was not just for pubs but for any venue that could be classed as one of community value. If it is put up for sale you can oppose it.
