I will ask again as I need to clear it up Do away results not count? If our records were flipped, people.would be saying we only nees to improve our away form and.promotion play offs were a real possibility Was only thinking the same. But it's home games that the majority see, it's the home games that generate the income.. . . and supposedly provide entertainment for the great unwashed, as opposed to mass frustration. It's a ridiculous concept really. Well it is in our case anyway.

No, this was not on a par with Bath City last season. This was far far worse. Agreed. Last year we were Conference and they were Conference South. Yesterday was like losing at home to Paulton Rovers/ Frome Town!

well i thought the Bath City game was "one to be got out of the way" in pursuit of promotion Totally agree, we didnt need a long run in that cup getting in the way of promotion but boy could we have done with reaching round 3 or 4 and the massive lift and cash it would provide. hopefully a good run in jpt will lift the mood. Oh and bath city have a far better team than chesham who deserved to win on effort alone.

Cant see why Leadbitter is in the side poor touch, lightweight and generally gives the ball away in areas which cause us problems.
From seeing the tackle by Lockyer from Druild stand on the day and seeing it on BBC video it was never a penalty. He won the ball perfectly also their player was injured in their half Rovers players looked to see if Chesham would put the ball out so he could get treatment and they carried on and Hayles set up the scoring chance to score mind you James Clarke failed to close attacker down.

3 for the ref is just about right. I hope the game he was watching was better than the one I was.
stevek192, you malign the Downs, I have played with better refs in pub leagues football.

Watch where the ball goes after the challenge that's a big clue ! Lockyer was a tad lucky he didn't get a red fouling in that position.
