Sorry if you thought that was implied...certainly not intended!

Exactly Bath Gas. We are open-minded about the outcome/s of our meeting. Having an arranged meeting with people actually there rather than sitting at home being keyboard warriors sends a clear signal that things at our club must change/improve. I'm sure you didn't mean it in the way it sounded but those fans who are in the process of developing an Independant Supporters Association are, unlike me at the moment, far more than just "keyboard warriors" but I wish you well at your meeting. I took it that Pirate49 was referring to the organisers of both groups - there seems to be a behind the scenes rapport. As the song says "It takes, different strokes to move the world" - kudos to all those who are galvinising us to turn our keyboard strokes into action! Just to confirm - I am a female! (we need a blonde smiley!)

I like the idea of an actual meeting between fans to discuss how we, as a fanbase, respond to the situation we find ourselves in.
Although the options may appear to be limited, doing nothing is not an option in my opinion.
I am not sure that multiple organisations are the way forward, I would like to see one organisation that represented all views to take us forward. The fans need a banner to rally behind. That should be the medium term goal.
Of course, there is nothing wrong with setting up multiple groups in the short term. Hopefully one will become the dominant group over time...
I will be at the meeting. Let's hope for a constructive and productive meeting!

I think a meeting like this is a good idea, it may help the fan base to get organised in advance of the 'official' supporters club one the following week.

Presumably all those suggesting we boycott the Welly during the appeal will not attend.

Has someone informed the landlord/manager of the Welly that this meeting is taking place? Should do out of courtesy and also to ensure enough bar staff are working?

All taken care of. Contact has been made and James was most obliging. He offered us a number of areas for the meeting, and then remembered the marquee and kindly offered us the use of that. Tuesday is his quiet day, and he is making no charge...though I'm sure there will be good takings at the bar. All sorted!

Sorry, but I'm not able to get there due to work and travel commitments (live in Telford - 200 mile round trip) so I wondering if the outcome of the meeting will be posted on this forum?

Any chance of a video link?? Seriously though. Those of us who would wish to attend, but cannot would welcome a summary on here of the main points raised.

Ditto myself due to poor health, I would have really liked to have gone too .... anything is worth trying. If we give up trying then we deserve no better than what the club is currently providing. And who is happy with that??? Agree about posting a summary too, great idea. Another idea:- Would it be possible for someone to provide live tweets from the meeting? Works very well for so many things and of course is instant. For these things to work things have to be put well in place before the season starts. You need to get as many people behind you ASAP for it to have any chance of success. No letup.

Agreed Lazza, that's what we have been trying to do, afterall the world cup and summer holidays are around the corner!
We're determined to keep the pressure up - ideas to do this will hopefully be agreed on at the meeting !
UTG !

Wonder who the club will send along to see what happens and report back? Not bothered really. i'm only interested in supporters like us being treated with respect and given the chance to air constructive ideas and questions that will be genuinely acted upon by the board. They owe us something big time for the last four seasons in my view. I have written two very polite and constructive letters to NH and The Board and got no reply ! We supporters need to show the same passion that we show on the terraces but sticking together and getting our points across loud and clear .

Were the letters to the Chairman emails or actual hard copy letters ? Feel at least they should be acknowledged and replied to
