Yea so Easter got sent off not for diving but for retaliation on a verbal insult on himself. I'm not condoning it, but at least he gives a fig. It's not about old enough to know better, it's about a bullying Mansfield team that persistently fouled and off ball antics grabbed attention. Everyone can clearly see Easter being man handled after the incident, with no redress, which demonstrates Mansfield motives. Ok, sent off......I'm sorry about that......but more importantly, the man has passion and desire. It was brewing v Wycombe with their number2, he has a streak in him. Fantastic, I say.. Sorry but he is a seasoned professional who has played at a far higher level than most of our team, taking out his frustration on a player clearly trying to wind him up is poor in my opinion, he's no good to us unless he is on the pitch, there's a time and a place for aggression but only if it brings about a positive result for us. As it is he appeared to cheat and if he had got away with it would probably unfairly got an opponent either booked or sent off. As a 'one eyed' supporter of Bristol Rovers, would I have condoned an opposition forward doing that to one of our defenders, no I wouldn't have but neither should I condone it from one of our own. Sorry, I just don't like cheats, even those wearing the blue and white quarters. Yea, you're right, Bridgey

Appealing the red card, website says it was for a headbutt, if that's in the refs report then makes sense to appeal

their player dragging Sinclair to the ground should have been a booking at the least. It was Hunt and he did get booked for it. Hunt played for City for 7 games (in two years) and according to my 'dirty' friends he was absolute s**te. Were he playing against City now he would get more abuse from the City crowd than he did from us. They hate him.
Sinclair - very dignified both getting up after the throwing to the ground and after the scything hunt tackle and not getting involved (very much)

They hate him, we hate him . . . so at last we agree about something (or somebody). It's almost a eureka moment, except that they seem to hate everyone, including their own staff. As for our fellow he's doing very well now, he seems to be concentrating on doing what he does best and doesn't get too involved in any shenanigans. He's proving to be an excellent signing, he did well last year in the Conference and is carrying on well in League Two. More of the same please Stu.

Sinclair was doing the decent thing by trying to get in between. Praise also to one of their subs for dragging Pearce away after the incident, but given Pearce threw the head into Lockyer after the red card, he should be in further trouble.
