I remember one drunken idiot at Woking away last year, he was a right state. Pretty sure he lost his train ticket he was so wasted, hopefully he got back home safe though I've not seen him since. Think I remember the tw*t you're on about. Managed to trick a throughly decent club like Woking in to selling him an Under15 ticket. Terrible bloke. He was one sick f**ker.

I gave up drinking years ago when I struggled to fit in to my trousers
You're supposed to put your trousers on BEFORE you start drinking!!!

Fully support this move and wish other clubs would do the same. Drunken idiots frequently ruin my match day experience. Why can't people just turn up and watch the game?Well there's a novel suggestion

Some of us enjoy a few pints before & after the game. I don't know about you but there are certain people that are so pussy whipped that I don't see them if not at a game, that's cause for celebration for me. Are you telling me that you don't bother with a couple of pints then ?

I just don't see the point in arriving at the game completely and utterly bladdered whilst being a nuisance to other spectators.

I just don't see the point in arriving at the game completely and utterly bladdered whilst being a nuisance to other spectators. That is generalising in the extreme. For example, I will be 52 by our next home game, the groups I go with are around 2-3 years older than me. None of us is a nuisance and we are often the ones to stand up to the occasional bully or the idiots who make racist remarks. Part of our pre match routine is starting at a certain pub and then meeting up with others as we traverse the Glos road. My own observations lead me to believe that those that do act up, seem to do so regardless of booze and they only get away with it because no one picks them up on it. I would suggest you say something or, if you're experience is that badly affected, you should be doing something about it, whether that is talking to stewards or taking it up with the club. From my experiences of that sort of thing I do find that you will get replies and action.

There is nothing sexist in stating the obvious as far as I can see. It's a bloody shame that most relationships that I see tend to have one person who seems to call the shots. I guess I can think myself very lucky in that respect. I've never pretended to be perfect btw and there is an ambiguity to most of us.
