I thought that Matty Taylor took his goal very well, good first touch followed by a well-placed shot. And Jermaine Easter's finish was all down to his experience I feel, and another well-taken goal. It's pleasing to see the front two beginning to score, for whatever reason.

Real quality and composure shown for both goals. Happy days my friends.

This is, in no way, a dig at Ellis but it certainly seems to me that Easter gets frustrated in having to track back. He certainly let Ellis know how he felt about that too. I know I am probably in a minority here but I think Taylor would be great if played in the hole and with Easter & Harrison both starting. I believe there are a lot of goals in the 3 of them with MT playing that role. Just my opinion of course.

oops - just noticed not on these highlights - someone on Gaschat has put up more extended highlights - well worth seeing Taylor's back heel to set up Bodin.

Know what you mean - I just dabble in Gaschat now - ha ha ! I used to really enjoy the place tbh. There are a number of what I thought were decent and balanced posters, that have left it. It just seemed that each thread deteriorated into either personal abuse or, at times, some pretty sick "humour" i quit and came over here, I do miss certain posters but not the overall forum experience on there but it is each to their own I guess. What does still niggle me is that I, maybe naively, that we were/are one big family. I'll quit before this turns into an essay on how we got to this. It really does sadden me, that we are so fragmented but there you go.

it's always worrying when players get crocked now and then, but I've always thought Easter was a useful player for us at this level.
