Being the sad b'stard I am I looked on the Hartlepool website. I wonder what he thought of the game.

I imagine he was annoyed about the result but pleased for his mates.

Link to Pool v Rovers pics: AM on pic 4
Their match report is also worth reading: link to HUFC match report
"Bristol Rovers were on top from the off this evening, full of energy and enthusiasm" "Pools, who had failed to get going in the first half, left the pitch to boos from the crowd and needed much more in the second half if they were to break through against a strong Bristol Rovers side" "It was a disappointing performance from Pools this evening who showed no real spark against a hard-working and bright Bristol Rovers side".

He was thinking "f**k me why did I leave" I think the same. I didn't think him good enough but he has a great work rate and decent footballing brain. A shame our offer couldn't keep him at the club IMO

In any event he would have made a good squad player at the very least, he could almost have been one of the managers options for shaking up the team versus Hartlepool.

I couldn't comment as I don't know. I managed to talk to DC and all he would say was the he turned down the offer made. I have no idea of the details. Many have said that he wanted to be closer to family. I had no idea he commuted, if that really was the case Brizzle ?
