Fair play to Jermaine, was right in front of him when he did that.
Just goes to show some are willing to travel 550 miles and still single out an individual, even when they have a really impressive game.

I was at the game and we played very very well. Good tempo in first half, good passing, good shape with Bodin and Gosling out wide and showing good control. We took our chances very well.....could have had a couple more. Hartlepool were very poor.
Good to see Jermaine Easter score again and give the "zip it" sign to a barracker....I liked that! Well done Jermaine. Well done the 190 who made the trip!

I see Taylor nearly contrived to miss that open goal! But great goal by Bodin, worthy of a game winner in itself

I loved watching the Billy Bodin goal, an excellent first touch followed by a cool finish. It ticks all of the boxes that one, but more of the same please. But I'm equally pleased to see Jermaine Easter score again, that's two in the last two matches. I really hope that as we move on into the season he may be striking some kind of form. When you see the video it appears to be a relatively simnple chance, but they all have to be put away.
With hindsight we only needed to score once to win, so to score three (without reply) must do wonders for the teams confidence.

Went up last night. Fantastic atmosphere, and a great night well worth the journey.
With regard to Easter doing the zip lip bit, I was sat three or four seats away from the guy it was aimed at. The guy had previously shouted at him to buck up. Of course when Easter scored he took the opportunity to do the shut up bit.
Can I just say, I truly think the guy involved is somewhat one of our less fortunate supporters. Not sure how to say it in writing, but if you met him, I believe you would feel somewhat protective of him. Of course Easter doesn't know that so I don't blame him in any way for what happened.

I'm thinking people see it more as a good reflection on Easter than a bad one on the bloke concerned (tho there is a bit of that too)

The goals: Funny how we used to hear moaning about "hoof-ball to our little strikers", now we're playing smart passing football but moans that we're not direct enough. Macca's ball through to Bodin: hoof-ball or great vision? ( great touch and finish by Billy Bodin, by the way).

Someone said the Bodin goal was 'like having Lambert back'. He'll put bums on seats if he can do a few more

I saw Bodin in a pre season friendly and was distinctly under whelmed. I'm hoping I was as wrong about him as I was about Jason Roberts!

Who was the other young striker we had at the same time as early Jason? Can't even remember his name now, but I thought at the time that he was the better bet. What do we know, eh?

JE appears to point to the gas heads and zip his mouth closed after scoring, or am I way off?
