I think everybody agrees our problem is not scoring goals, but I think its our style of play is wrong. we were passing the ball sideways and backward to often, even when we were in extra time with the seconds ticking away we were passing aimlessly back and sideways. Most goals are scored from inside the box, the way we play our attacks fizzle out before we get in the scoring area. better tactics are needed and needed fast before the season become what we have become used to in recent times.

We always run and pass sideways. lines does more than anyone ... Our problem yesterday was sitting off them and sitting to deep. Not pressing them and letting them have the ball on half way line so they can pass to whoever they want

Re style of play, at home we are easy to play against. Wingers who don't beat full backs with a midfield that never gets beyond a front player.

Think we can all see that we missing that attacking presence we don't have any real threats who carries the ball forward and creates chances in midfield.
Also Ellis seems to sitting deeper than I would like to see really, he should be on that last man. I am not convinced by Jermain Easter, he would be better used as an impact player coming on for last half hour.
Loan signings I would like to see is a Striker and an attacking Centre Midfielder. Also big physical midfielder who would make the oppo think twice, we are a little soft.

How on earth are people saying Easters goal was an own goal? he hit the ball like a rocket. It hit the bar and was on the way out before the keeper knocked it in. Clear own goal.

I see what you mean but would be very harsh on the keeper to give it as an own goal and anyway I am sure the keeper will be quite happy for Easter to have it as it was a great shot.
