Put your questions to the the Board
The first live Fans Forum will be held at the Memorial Stadium on Monday, July 21st (7pm).
The event will be attended by the Chairman Nick Higgs, and other members of the Board of Directors, and will offer fans the chance to ask questions about the future of the club.
The evening was originally going to be for Supporter’s Club members and Season Ticket holders only, but after listening to feedback from fans, it will now be open to all supporters.
However, due to the limited capacity, fans will be asked to register their attendance by emailing admin@bristolrovers.co.uk – there will be 150 places available.
Please submit your questions when registering, as they will not be taken on the night.
Registration for the event will open on Monday July 7th. If you do not receive an email, you have successfully secured a place.
Those who are not successful, will be contacted by email, and receive priority for the next event.
"My email sent, hopefully will get a place"

Once again questions beforehand.
Sorry but it's another waste if time. I despair when grown men cannot front up to questions on the spur of the moment. Only dishonest peoe fear that

Well at least the event has been opened up to more than SC and ST holders. Just shows that they do read the posts on here.

a bit like Prime Ministers Question Time, all questions are submitted in advance giving enough time to dream up a plausible reply, mind you if there's any more joke answers like the 70 minutes to relegation classic we'll be in for some great talking points. I look forward to not receiving my e.mail!!!

Once again questions beforehand. Sorry but it's another waste if time. I despair when grown men cannot front up to questions on the spur of the moment. Only dishonest peoe fear that Hi kp, not everyone is comfortable with public speaking regardless of their background, even and I use this word guardedly 'successful' business men, they just aren't trained for it, you cannot just have questions from the floor without some structure to it or else it becomes uncontrollable. Not everyone is comfortable with being ambushed with questions. Even when interviewing for jobs I provide written questions for applicants to browse over so they can gather their thoughts together before proceeding. If they are going to allow 150 fans to just shout out questions with no order there will be mayhem, a little structure to proceedings will ensure there is also the possibility of it being offered again. I don't envy anyone having to sit and answer even prepared questions let alone off the cuff so get your application and your questions in and then get ready with a supplementary question, keep making them account for their inactions

I can't see them answering all questions submitted by those attendee's - 150 answers on the night if only 1 question per person (yes, some questions will be duplicated but some fans will have more than one question so I'm just talking round figures here for arguments sake).
To me it seems like they will pick and chose which questions they will answer, or more pertinently, which information they are prepared to put into the public domain. I can't see any pointed or near the knuckle questions getting asked.
Not so much like Questiontime, more like Parkinson interviewing some actor who's just there to plug their latest film.

Well you could always submit a nice cosy easy to answer question but when invited ask a completely different one but of course no one would think of doing that would they?

Maybe I am being being overly negative about the registration process, but could it be a means of screening the audience in general. Should really be first come first served. Would be interesting for people who apply to attend make a note of the time/day they send their e-mail and compare who was accepted or not and the date of dispatch. Maybe any City fans, troublemakers, people who send e-mails to Nick and do not make their motives known to Nick and sheep botherers will be excluded in that order.

Once again, a simple PR task has been complicated to (I assume) protect the BoD... I will send my email and question at 12.01am. My question will probably be hard hitting, and at least will be spelt correctly...question is, will I qualify?

It's not the questions themselves...it's the follow-ups which come from the answers. At the SC EGM there was very little follow-up allowed. If it is strictly one question then just one answer it could be a very frustrating night!

By not sending an e-mail that means I'm not going to get one in reply so does that mean I can go to the Q&A forum ?
