that GTFC commentator must be one of the most boring of his type, excitement aint part of his make up Is he meant to get excited when his team concede? Good goal. I'm hopeful that we haven't seen the last of Blissett in a Rovers shirt.

I do wonder if Nathan Blissett has a future at Rovers. Allegedly Rovers paid a fairly hefty fee for him, but he has consistently failed to live up to expectations. But there is always a nagging doubt with him. Is he a rough diamond (like Devon White), just waiting to be ''polished''?
I'd love to think so.

I watched the second half of the game on BT Sport and Blisset, apart from his well taken goal, looked hopeless in my view. I wouldn't be surprised to see him return unless we offered to pay most of his wages to stay another month.

I watched the whole game and from the time Blisset came on the only thing he did of note was to score other than that I thought he was very very ordinary. In fact since he has gone out on loan I would think he has fallen even further down the pecking order.

I have always said bliss will come good eventually.
Barely had a chance and written off too early by many. Offers unique ability to the team and his touch isn't as bad as everyone says.

If that was the case surely then he'd impress in the division below whilst playing for his loan club? It sounds to me he's looking to stay at Tranmere from these comments: “I want to play League football for Bristol Rovers but I’ve not been able to. Coming here means dropping back down a division but I know this league and Tranmere is a massive club.

Who can forget the assessment in preseason where other then scoring twice and setting one up, he did nothing for 87 minutes?!

The announcement of his loan to Tranmere was released on August 21, so his loan period must be over (or almost over) by now.
It'll be interesting to learn of the decision.

I think it should be recognised that he hasn't been a pro for very long. It takes a year or so to come up to speed and make the transition. Blisset was signed as a work in progress, made some important contributions last season particularly in games in which we weren't particularly inspiring and the best thing we can do is place him somewhere where he's going to be playing games regularly and then assess. We've done the right thing and given the current issue we have scoring goals I'd have thought DC might be tempted to roll the dice on Blissett to shake our forward line up a bit.

Other than Kidderminster away (where he still missed a sitter) I'm struggling to think of a game where he made an important contribution. I'm hoping if he does come back, I will be as wrong about him as I was about Jason Roberts.
